The Fortis SAS Smock takes inspiration from elite military design, combining exceptional utility with dependable weather protection for demanding outdoor use. Despite its name, the sas smock is technically a jacket. Its title originates from military practice, where soldiers would tighten the drawcords at the waist and hem, unzip to the midsection, and use this setup to efficiently discard magazines while in action.
Featuring a drawcord waist and hem, four front tape-secured pockets, and a choice between waterproof or water resistant shell variants, it’s built for performance in a variety of environments; whether you’re on the range, in the field, or navigating tough terrain. Made with our tough ripstop fabric and featuring adjustable cuffs, integral hood and precision detailing, this jacket embodies true functionality and resilience for those who rely on their gear.
