DWR: SURFACE PROTECTION

DWR is what keeps the outer layer performing at its best. Over time, and with frequent washing or hard use, this finish naturally wears down, which is completely normal for any high-performance fabric. When water stops beading, a simple reproofing treatment restores the finish and maintains full Fortex™ protection.

RIPSTOP: The Outer Layer

Our Fortex™ Ripstop fabric is the first shield against harsh weather. Lightweight yet incredibly tough, it’s woven with reinforced grid lines that prevent tears from spreading, making it ideal for demanding outdoor environments.

Drop Liner: Waterproofing

While the Ripstop outer is highly resistant to rain, prolonged saturation can push any fabric to its limit. This is where our Fortex™ Drop-liner steps in. Hidden inside the garment, it acts as a second waterproof barrier, ensuring moisture is stopped before it reaches your inner layers. It delivers dependable protection even when conditions become truly extreme.

Drop-Liner Laminate: Advanced Waterproof & Breathable Performance

Our Fortex™ Drop-liner membrane is engineered to balance outstanding waterproofing with maximum comfort and breathability. 20,000mm hydrostatic head for exceptional waterproof protection 20,000mm breathability to release moisture vapour as you move This means you stay dry from both rain and internal build-up, essential for active days in challenging weather.
