The fabric uses a lightweight nylon ripstop weave to reduce weight while limiting the spread of small tears. Finished with a waterproof coating, it forms a protective barrier designed to keep contents dry, even during brief submersion, while remaining highly flexible, compressible, and easy to pack down into minimal space when not in use.
