The Fortis Spray-on Water Repellent is the easy yet powerful solution for renewing the water-beading performance of your outdoor gear. Whether jackets, smocks or trousers, this heavy-duty treatment works on nylon, wool, tweed, softshell and gore-tex, restoring your clothing’s ability to shed water and look after you in damp conditions. Ideal for giving your kit a refresh after heavy use, muddy days or long seasons outdoors.

How to Use Your Fortis® Water Repellent Spray

Wash your garment the best you can, preferably a gentle cold hand wash. If you must use a machine, no higher than 30°C and use a non-bio detergent.

Hang it up and let it dry naturally.

Once bone-dry, give it a generous, even spray of Fortis® Water Repellent all over the outer surface.

Dry Again.

When treated properly, water should bead up and roll off. Reapply when necessary..

This water-based reproofing spray is compatible with most fabrics including nylon, wool, tweed and gore-tex®, and restores the protective water-repellency layer so water beads and rolls off effectively.
